9 Pumpkin Patches Near Portland, OR. to Visit this Fall

Whether you’re a fan of fall or a fair-weather summer fan, there’s no escaping the Halloween season quickly approaching. If you’re searching for the perfect weekend activity, here’s a list of some awesome pumpkin patches in the greater Portland area that are worth a visit!

Sauvie’s Island Pumpkin Patch – Portland, OR. 

Sauvie’s Island is a Portland classic. This pumpkin patch is famously known for their elaborate annual corn maize. While you’re there, check out the produce market and gift shop, grab some lunch and coffee at the cafe, and hop on a hay ride before you choose your perfect pumpkin. There are no admission fees to enter the pumpkin patch. Sauvie’s Island Pumpkin Patch is open from October 1 – October 31.

Roloff Farms – Hillsboro, OR. 

Roloff Farms is another famous Oregon pumpkin patch, known from the TLC show “Little People Big World”. Their pumpkin patch season runs from October 1 – October 31. Reservations/tickets are required ahead of time, and cost $24 per person above the age of 3. Shop for souvenirs in the Country Store, grab some snacks and check out the wagon tour. 

Papa’s Pumpkin Patch – Sherwood, OR.

Grab some pumpkins, candles and fall decor at this family farm in Sherwood! Papa’s Pumpkin Patch describes themselves as “A low key shopping experience. No thrills, no frills…just affordable pumpkins, and MORE! No tricks…just treats!” Grab one of the 90+ candle scents available! Stop by anytime between September 18 – October 31. 

Liepold Farms – Boring, OR.

Liepold’s Fall Festival is open 7 days a week, and requires a fall festival pass. A full pass is $20 per adult and $15 per kid ages 2-13. This pass includes access to the corn maze, dark maze, apple slingshot, children’s pavilion, hay ride, dead end corn maze challenge and scavenger hunt. Grab some apple cider mini donuts and a cup of apple cider and enjoy your visit.

Topaz Farm – Portland, OR. 

This beautiful farm near Sauvie Island features a corn maze, hay rides, livestock, pumpkin spice cider, snacks and more! Keep in mind they are closed on Mondays, but open Tuesday – Saturday starting at 9 AM. Stop by on October 10 for the Sauvie Island Farmer’s Market! 

Bushue’s Family Farm – Boring, OR. 

Farm animals, slushies, fresh donuts, pumpkins and more! Entry to the farm is free at Bushue’s, however a reservation is required. Reserve your spot online here. You can also reserve a private hayride for up to 12 people!

Lee Farms – Tualatin, OR. 

The Fall Harvest Festival at Lee Farms runs from September 18 through Halloween. General admission is $12 and includes access to hay rides, the corn maze, play area and animal viewing pens. The activities wristband includes everything included in the general admission ticket, as well as access to haymazes, slides, bounce pillow, jump pad, wagon rides and tricycles. The farm is closed on Mondays, but open Tuesday – Sunday. 

Vancouver Pumpkin Patch – Vancouver, WA. 

For the $10 admission, you gain access to the pumpkin patch, hayride, corn maze, petting zoo and one pumpkin from the pumpkin patch! Admission is required for all pumpkin patch goers above the age of 2. While you’re there, check out the u-pick area of the farm where you can take home tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, cucumbers and more! The pumpkin patch is closed Mondays. 

Plumper Pumpkin Patch – Portland, OR. 

The Plumper Pumpkin Patch season begins on September 25 and tickets are required for entry. You can grab your tickets online here. Check out the farm animals, fallow field, tube slides, hobbit house, wagon rides and pumpkin cannons. This farm is the perfect day trip for the whole family.
