Our BBQ-based marinade adds mouthwatering flavor to all of your favorite dishes and it is perfect for summertime grilling. If you’ve shopped at Gartner’s in the past, you’ve likely seen the marinade section at the far end of our meat counter, but we also offer 16 and 64 ounce jars of marinade for you to take home and experiment with.
Note: Always make sure you’re marinating your meats in the refrigerator in an enclosed container. Marinating at room temperature can allow bacteria to grow.
Here are 6 great pairings for our Gartner’s house made marinade.
Chicken Thighs
When it comes to grilling, there are few meats that are more versatile than boneless, skinless chicken thighs. Pair some boneless chicken thighs with our house made marinade for some delicious BBQ flavor. Marinate your chicken thighs for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours in the fridge, toss them on the grill and enjoy!
Skirt Steak
The texture of skirt steak helps to really absorb the flavor of our marinade, allowing it to penetrate deep into the meat and infuse it with flavor. Marinating a skirt steak helps to tenderize it while adding some delicious flavor. Whether you’re wanting to grill up some fajitas or thinly-sliced steak to toss on top of a salad, marinating skirt steak for a few hours before grilling is a great option.
Short Ribs
The cross-cut marinated short ribs in our meat case might just be our most popular item. But our marinade also is a great option to couple with traditional English style short ribs. The tender and rich flavor of the ribs complements the marinade well, and you can either grill them or slow roast them to fall-off-the-bone perfection.
Pork Tenderloin
The lean and tender nature of pork tenderloin makes it a great option to absorb all of the mouthwatering flavors of our marinade. The marinade’s tangy, savory elements complement the mild sweetness of the pork. Whether you decide to grill, roast or pan-sear it, our house made marinade is a great option to add some flavor to your pork tenderloin dish.
Top Sirloin
If you want to enjoy a juicy, marinated steak without breaking the bank, a top sirloin is a great choice. Marinate your steaks for a few hours, or you can thinly slice your steak before marinating in order to create a delicious meat that is perfect for a stir-fry.
German Bratwurst
If you’ve ever had our marinated beef or chicken kabobs, you know that the German Bratwurst on the end is delicious when grilled to perfection. Grab a handful of German Bratwursts and marinate them for a few hours before tossing them on the grill for a delicious, juicy BBQ flavor.
