There’s no shortage of great pumpkin patches to visit during the fall in Oregon. Here are a few great options to check out with the family this fall season!
Sauvie Island – Portland, OR.
The original Portland pumpkin patch! The Sauvie Island pumpkin patch has been family run since 1967. No reservations are required and entrance to the pumpkin patch is free! There are tons of great attractions including: the animal barn, produce shop, gift shop, the iconic annual corn maze, specialty food booths, beer and hard cider as well as the cafe where you can grab some lunch before you head home with the perfect pumpkin. Liepold Farms – Boring, OR.
Liepold Farms is located just about 20 miles east of Portland. This organic, family-owned farm features sunflowers in the summer and pumpkins and gourds in the fall. The Fall Festival at Liepold Farms includes access to the corn maze, dark maze, apple slingshot, childrens pavilion, hay ride, dead end challenge in the corn maze and a festival-wide scavenger hunt. Full festival passes are $20 for adults and $15 for kids age 2-13.
Lee Farms – Tualatin, OR.
Located just outside of Portland in Tualatin, Lee Farms’ Harvest Pumpkin Patch Festival runs from September 24th to October 30th. A general admission ticket to the festival includes access to the hayride, corn maze, play area, animal viewing pens, as well as the farm grounds. The activities wristband gets you access to all of the general admission activities as well as unlimited access to the haymazes, slide, bounce pillow, jump pad, barrel wagon rides and tricycles. Baumans Farm – Gervais, OR.
There are tons of great activities to check out at Bauman’s Harvest Festival – 25 activities to be exact. From the corn maze, to giant slides, jumping pillows and hard cider on tap, there are options for the whole family at Baumans. The Harvest Festival runs from September 24th to October 30th and is open Tuesday – Sunday from 9 to 5. Tickets start at $15 with a $30 unlimited wristband option on the weekends.
Mt.View Orchards – Mt.Hood, OR.
Stop by Mt.View Orchards right outside of Hood River and visit Carlos the steer, enjoy beautiful views of Mt.Hood, hop on a hayride and grab some pumpkins to carve at home this fall. Check out the vineyard tasting room (kid friendly) that serves beer, wine, cider and pizza to complete a great weekend trip.
Yesteryear – Wilsonville, OR.
Yesteryear Pumpkin Patch in Wilsonville is a great place to to visit during the fall as well as the winter. Stop by the gift shop for some fall decor and check out the rotating list of food carts that will be visiting Yesteyear this pumpkin season!
