There’s nothing quite like grilling up some burgers on a summer Friday evening. But if you catch yourself in a rut of BBQ’ing burgers and hotdogs and want to spice up your summer backyard BBQ menu, we’ve got you covered! Here are a few of our favorite options that are easy to toss on the grill and enjoy in the sunshine.
Marinated Short Ribs
Our marinated short ribs are a crowd favorite among our long-term customers! These thin-sliced, Korean style beef ribs come in bone-in and boneless options and are coated in our homemade Gartner’s marinade. They are super easy to grill and only take a few minutes on each side before they’re ready to devour!
Pepper Steaks
Speaking of marinade, our pepper steaks are marinated to perfection and topped with black pepper for the perfect finish. These steaks typically weigh around a pound each, so they’re perfect to split with someone else, or to take on yourself if you’re feeling hungry! Pair our pepper steaks with some potato or macaroni salad from our deli counter for an easy, delicious summer dinner.
Smoked German Bratwursts
One of the questions we get asked most often is, “What sausage do you use on your marinated kabobs?” – the answer is our smoked German Bratwursts! Our smoked brats are also a super easy grilling option. Since they are fully cooked in our smokehouse, all you have to do is heat them up on the grill and serve!
Skirt Steak
Did you know we carry skirt steak? We have quite a few options that aren’t directly in our front case that you can special order from our team! Skirt steak is the perfect option to grill up some carne asada tacos, or to enjoy as an entree on it’s own.
Marinated Chicken Thighs
Eating clean this summer? Our marinated chicken thighs are an amazing choice for a summer BBQ! No seasonings, rubs or sauces required. Just toss some marinated chicken thighs on the grill, pair them with a couple of your favorite side dishes and you have an easy, delicious, guilt-free dinner.
Marinated Tri-Tip
If you have a Traeger, definitely add some marinated tri-tip to your grocery list this summer. Tri-tip is a relatively lean cut of meat and tastes amazing when cooked low and slow on a traeger grill. This triangular cut of meat (hence the name tri-tip) cut from the bottom of the sirloin is super flavorful and a great choice if you’re having friends or family over.
Chicken/Beef Kabobs
Protein and veggies all in one, our kabobs make summer grilling super quick and convenient. Topped on each end with our famous smoked bratwurst, you can’t go wrong choosing some marinated kabobs for lunch or dinner.
